Heidi trained in Australia as a paediatrician, but her love of big wide spaces and mountain peaks lead her to buck the trend and move to Aotearoa 19 years ago.  Retraining in Emergency medicine, her career has included being founding member of the Westpac Aeromedical retrieval team, leadership roles in adults and Starship emergency and more recently she has established a private paediatric practice in the North and South Islands.  She is also passionate about physician coaching and professional supervision.
